I don’t know how dilligent I will be about this, but for the time being I am very excited. While what I plan to write is not a novel per se, I am still going to challenge myself to do some writing every day and refrain from editing any of what I write until December. I’m curious to see what I can do when I have some support from fellow writers in a creative capacity.
Is anyone else going to participate? Let me know and we can keep each other on track and share tips, progress, etc.

Groove Momma
I did Nano two years ago and am tempted to try it again this year. Since I have little free time these days, I’ll need a detailed outline to get through the month. Once I decide for sure, I will let you know!
What are you planning to write? I want to work on short stories, so I think I’ll develop four characters and tell their stories while intertwining their lives. Once it’s all over, I figure I could go with the story or stories I like best and edit.

You know, I jumped into this on a bit of a whim and I have no real goals other than to write. That sounds a bit vague, but I’m not looking to pen a novel or anything serious. I just hope to use this as a way to become more structured in my writing and maybe, just maybe, something surprising will come out of it.
You sure sound like you have a plan and I am envious of that. I think that will make things much easier for you and hopefully you’ll have something tangible at the end of the month. Good luck! And let me know if you decide to sign up and we can be NANO friends!
